Moving sucks, we know! Things that aren’t good for you are worse for your move! Our bloggers have a few tips about different strategies for unlikely good moving tips.

• Ceramics: Nothing in your life will make you madder than breaking or chipping your cat in a taxi. That will make you mad. Do not take the cat in a taxi out of a box in storage and leave it balancing on something. Also, wrap your cat in a taxi up for better care.

• Office Furniture: Throw your office furniture away. Do not store metal cubicles in your personal storage. 5 years from now you may not have a truck, and 3 men to move them. Your desk from 3 desks down, should probably be left where it was, as someone will stand on your desk with the glass on it and break the glass anyways. That will probably be you.

• Mannequins: Always keep your mannequin. Keeping your mannequin means that even though it was trash before, you will pay your storage bill on time more often with a mannequin in the unit. The better your placement, the more times you will get to lift the mannequin out of the way when in storage.
